RULES AND HOURS
The park is open 7 days a week/365 days a year except those few occassions when we are doing maintainance. Any full park closure will be posted on this website and our Facebook page prior. Hours are dawn to dusk, the gate will lock after and before those times and your key fob will not work.
You must obtain a key fob from the St Clair Shores Parks and rec dept at the Civic Ice Arena prior to getting into the park. You must have all current vaccination records (rabies, DHLP, Bordatella ) and your city dog license. Key fobs are $20 per year for St Clair Shores residents and $30 per year for non residents. You must attend a new members meeting within 30days of obtaining your key fob or it will be turned off. Times and dates of those meetings are on this website.
DOG PARK RULES 2010
For the health and safety of our dogs and everyone who enters the dog
park gated area, we have developed the following rules.
Please do not let people or dogs in with out key fob this protects our park
Dogs must be healthy, fully vaccinated (Rabies, DHLP, Bordatella & Parvovirus), de-wormed, licensed and wearing identification tags.
Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by their dogs.
Owners must remain within the fenced area at all times.
Dogs must be leashed prior to and upon leaving the dog park.
Dogs with a history of, or who have exhibit aggressive behavior are prohibited.
Puppies under five (5) months old are prohibited.
Dogs in heat or pregnant are prohibited.
No people food or dog food is allowed in the park.
Owners must clean up after their dogs: no fecal waste may be left in the park.
Anyone under eighteen (18) years old must be accompanied by an adult. Younger children must be closely supervised.
Children under five (5) are prohibited.
Each person eighteen (18) years and older may bring no more than three (3) dogs in the park at any time.
Dogs must be supervised at all times.
The dog park is open from sunrise to sunset.
Only dog owners or caregivers and dogs listed on an approved CITY OF ST.CLAIR SHORES DOG PARK APPLICATION for User Privileges may enter the DOG PARK.
Additional Rules:
-NO prong, choke, spiked or electronic bark collars are allowed in the park
-Any item left at the park (chairs, leashes, etc.) will be tagged and then removed with in 48 hours
